Tai Chi and Chi Kung Workshops
Richard is running two workshops this year as an introduction to The Thailand Retreat in early 2020.
This is a chance to learn the ancient art of Tai Chi and Chi Kung, gain an understanding of it’s basic principles and move your level of mindfulness up a gear.
Join us for a day of exploration for your mind and body.
Richard’s Teaching techniques are relaxed, exploratory and above all fun. His work with Master John Ding over the past 20 years has served him well, delivering an informative and achievable class for eveyone.
9.30am Arrive at The Retreat for refreshments and getting ready. 10am Start
The morning session will consist of Standing Chi Kung and some loosening up exercises and will finish with looking at some principles of the Foudation Form that you will learn on your Retreat in Koh Samui in Thailand.
12.30pm Please bring some lunch, that you are happy to share. We will set the dishes out, to share with everyone. After our meal, there will be time to relax and chillout, maybe go for a short walk if the weather is kind.
1.30pm The afternoon session will look at some structure, intentions and mindfulness, intergrating them in the Form work.
4.30pm Breathing Exercises and Finish
